International Rally – Europeans For a Diverse Europe - No to the EU Constitution!
An international rally will take place on Saturday 9 April consisting of five sessions opened by speakers with questions and discussion. Guest speakers will make contributions in between sessions. The last session will be a panel discussion on campaigning against the European Constitution. This event has been convened by the Democracy Movement and Campaign against Euro- federalism. There will be a social event on Saturday evening.
Annual General Meeting
The AGM will take place on Sunday 10 April at the same venue and your organisation is invited to send a representative. Papers for the AGM will be available prior to the AGM.
This year and the coming are important years whilst ratification of the European Constitution is taking place in EU Member States where some are holding referendums. We need to discuss a Working Programme, elect a TEAM Board and Nomination Committee and discuss the situation in different countries.
Affiliated organisations can forward motions to the AGM up until 4 April, make nominations to the TEAM Board and propose amendments to the TEAM Constitution up to 4 April.
Representatives and accommodation
If you have not done so already I ask your organisation to let me know as to whether or not you are sending a representative to these events and on which nights. This is so that we know how much accommodation is required and can be made available. Low cost accommodation is now being arranged in central London. This of course does not prevent you making your own arrangements.
I look forward to your reply.
Your sincerely,
JOHN BOYD Co-ordinator of TEAM and “Europeans for Diversity - No to the EU Constitution!”
