So Lisbon Treaty is about US investments?

Yesterday the Irish business people (IBEC) have developed brand new argument for voting YES on the dubious treaty. In their Press Centre you can read following:

IBEC, the group that represents Irish business, today said that a yes vote for the Lisbon Reform Treaty is a vote to secure the enormous investment by US companies in Ireland. The group, which represents over 7,000 employers in the country, including the largest US multinationals, said that the Treaty safeguards investment in the country and will better position Europe and Ireland to win more US foreign direct investment in the future.

Please read the whole article if you are interested in the development of the Irish referendum campaign. However there is a word you won’t find there. It’s spelled D-E-M-O-C-R-A-C-Y. Apparently it does not mix well with today’s big business.
